Dallas – Kenneth Larry Brewer, Sr. - 76, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2021 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Gaston County, NC on July 25, 1944 to the late William "Bill" Bartley Brewer and Helen Smart Brewer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his baby sister, Brenda Brewer and brothers, Darrell Brewer and Calvin William Brewer.
Larry retired with over 30 years of dedicated service from Ryerson Steel. He was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church. Larry loved being outside; whether he was gardening or watching the birds, or any and all sports. He also enjoyed his trips to the beach and Hilton Head. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His time with his grandchildren was most precious to him he loved them all dearly.
Left to cherish his memories include his loving wife of almost 57 years, Sue Bradbury Brewer; his sons, Kenneth Brewer and his wife Jessica Murphy, Todd and wife Sherry Barnes Brewer; Michael and wife Katie Cardoni Brewer; grandchildren, Brayden, Emily, Annabelle, Eden, Daniel and Evelyn; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
