Linda Denette Griffin

Linda Denette Griffin, 66, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side.

She was born March 7, 1960 in Lincolnton, North Carolina, to Hubert and Clara Griffin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Long.

Linda worked for Cigna for over 30 years and was dedicated to her family, who she loved the most above anything else. She also loved her precious dogs, Damon and Diesel. Linda was a good cook, enjoyed dancing, and going to Folly Beach. She leaves many happy memories to be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Ledbetter (Stephen); sister, Kelly Griffin; aunts, Pauline Reynolds and Johnsie Mungo; cousins, Thom Rainey, John Rainey, Eric Reynolds, Jeff Fritts, and Paulette McEver.

The family will receive friends at Maylo United Methodist Church, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mark Etchinson officiating.
