Linda Jenkins Radford

Dallas – Linda Kay (Doodle) Jenkins Radford, 78, joined her Heavenly Father on December 21, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at her residence.      

   Linda was born in Gaston County, NC on November 17, 1945 to the late Mack Berry and Edna Mae Whitlock Jenkins.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 wonderful years, Carl Radford; her sisters, Jean Propst, June (Pete) Mulwee, Nell Garrison and Pat (Cooter) Propst.

 Linda will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed!  She was a faithful member of Lowell Church of God. Linda enjoyed serving with Lois Cooper in their ministering to Brookdale Assisted Living on Sunday’s. She also enjoyed leading the choir when needed. After retirement her passion was gardening.  Linda retired from Bellsouth/AT&T after 25+ years.

   Left to cherish her memories includes her children, Ronald Radford (Donna); Angela Radford (Erick Gonzalez); and Jon Radford (Cindy); grandchildren, Jonathan, Hannah, Aaron (Mercede), Logan and Abigail; siblings Andrew 0Dickie)Jenkins (Kay), Kathy (Punkin) Propst (Steve), Tommy Duncan (Janice); numerous nieces and nephews. 

   A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday at Evergreen “A Quiet Place” with Reverend Joe Heffner officiating, with the Releasing of the Doves to follow.

    Pallbearers will be Jonathan Radford, Aaron Radford, Logan McKnight, Tim Radford, Buddy Radford and Billy Secrest.

   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lowell Church of God, 804 West 1^st Street, Lowell, NC 28098.
