Linda Sue Saunders

Linda Sue Saunders, 69, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on March 14, 1956 to Rebecca Saunders and the late Irvin Saunders.

Linda loved to travel everywhere in the US and took some trips to Europe. She was such a big personality, great sense of humor, and amazing storyteller. She also never missed a spa day. Linda was career driven and took great pride in her work in insurance. She enjoyed music, going to concerts, and was a Tar Heel fan. Most of all she loved her family and her grandkids were her world. The many happy memories she leaves will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Chad Fleming (Samantha) and Cadi Putnam (Philip Masonoff); sisters, Barbara Buck and Janice Lytle; grandchildren, Jade Smith, Ty Fleming, Carter Fleming, Sullivan Fleming; and her great-grandchild, Ivy White.

Service will be private at a later date.
