Lonnie Pelliccia

Lonnie Samuel Edward Pelliccia, 43, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Lincoln County on August 7, 1979. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Doris Moskalczyk.

Lonnie enjoyed reading, working in his garden and cooking. He loved to cook, often fixing dinner every night.  Most of all he was a great father, often spending time playing basketball, coaching his son, working out at the gym with his son Tristan, instilling lifelong skills and qualities. He wanted Tristan  to be the best he could be.

He was a devoted and loving father and son. He worked in management and construction most of his life.

Lonnie is survived by his son, Tristan Abram Pelliccia; his mother, Tammy Chandler (Jerry Decouto); life partner, Lindsay Blalock; brothers, Jeremy Link (Michelle), Michael Link (Teresa Farris); niece, Carla Ann Link; aunts and uncles, Debra Dziedzic (Andrew), Donna Buff (Scott), Robert Moskalczyk (Joan), John Moskalczyk; cousins, James Smith, Nicole and Ryan Horner, Samantha Kerrigan (John), Natalie Buff, James Wilson, Valaska Crawley (Jay); numerous great cousins.

A Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2023 at New Life Foursquare Church, 441 East Rhodes Street, Lincolnton with Pastor James Sanders officiating.

Flowers may be delivered from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
