Louise Scott Bradshaw

Louise Bradshaw, 98, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away on April 16, 2023 at Novant Health, Bolivia, NC with her loving family by her side.

Louise was born in Cleveland County on April 6, 1925 to the late Zeb and Genevia Scott …. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Fornie A. Bradshaw, Sr.; son, Dennis Michael Bradshaw; brothers, June Scott ; and 5 step brothers and a step sister, son-in-law, Marvin; and her grandson, Gregory Bradshaw.

She was a charter member of Friendly Baptist Church, where she was very active. She loved getting her hair and nails done weekly. Louise worked faithfully for 46 years at Wix Corporation.

She is survived by her children Fornie A. Bradshaw, Jr. (Cornelia), Janice B. Kowalchuk, Ruth B. Michalak (Al), Rick Bradshaw (Melanie); grandchildren, Jodi Owens, Angie Suddreth, Joseph Bradshaw, Melanie Sanders, Chris Heavner, Eddie Michalak, Jeffery Michalak – Hill, Ian Bradshaw, Beren Bradshaw; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday April 20, 2023 at Friendly Baptist Church 1422 N. Rhyne Street, Gastonia. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the church with Pastor Marshall Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Joe, Ian, Jeff, Eddie, Chris, Gage, Sam and Hayden

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Friendly Baptist Church 1422 N. Rhyne Street, Gastonia.
