Margaret Thomas Landers, 60, passed away peacefully at Robin Johnson Hospice House on July 30, 2025, with her family by her side.

She was born in Asheville, North Carolina, on November 25, 1964, to the late Ray and Margaret Thomas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, John, Ray, and Ricky Thomas.

Margaret enjoyed art and gardening. She was an accountant by trade but also involved with and passionate about entrepreneurial work, helping to build new businesses and watching them thrive. Most of all, Margaret loved to be around the people she loved most, her family and friends. Her sense of humor was something she held onto throughout her 10-month battle with cancer and will never be forgotten. She leaves many happy memories to be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Michael Landers (Constance) and Leslie Landers; brother, Bobby Thomas; and grandchildren, Nate and Pippa Landers; and her boyfriend of 20 years, Tyrone Potts. 

Family and friends will gather for visitation to celebrate Margaret's life from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Deltas Bloomers, 3381 NC-16, Maiden, North Carolina 28650.
