Dallas – Margie Irene McCraw Pasour, 92, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022, at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Cleveland County on March 25, 1929, to the late Coin McGraw and Addie Mae Wilson McCraw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Landis Pasour; her daughter, Pamela Carol Huffstetler, and her grandson, Brian Huffstetler; her brothers, Marvin, Boyce, Clifford, and Clyde.
Margie was a dedicated member at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church for many years. She was known as the sweetest woman ever. Margie was a compassionate, loving, kind, humble and generous soul to everyone. She took great pride in helping to design the 1976 Gaston County Bicentennial Coin. Margie was known for her penmanship and beautiful handwriting skills. She was the most loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
Survivors include her son, Bryan Thomas "Tom" Pasour and her caregiver, Deb Collins; grandchildren, Leo Pasour, Lisa Morris, and Todd Huffstetler; great-grandchildren, Carol Ann, Zach, Chris, Lance, Jacob, Derek, Lauren, Amber, Angel, Preston, Shelby, Ramos Rodriquez, and Landon, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm., Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
