Mark Alan Harris II, 26, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. Mark was born in Gastonia on November 22, 1994 and is the son of Mark Alan Harris of Gastonia and Sheila Harris Davidson of Clover, South Carolina.
Mark was an Automotive Technician. He loved to play video games, play with his children, cook and could cook a "Mean Steak", playing his guitar and playing with his dog.
He was a loving son, father, grandson and brother and will be truly missed by so many.
Mark is survived by his father, Mark Alan Harris; mother, Sheila Harris Davidson; son, Cayson Pearson; daughter, Lillith Harris; paternal grandfather, Joe Harris, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Verila Sue Kuykendall; 3 sisters, Chrystal Harris and husband Justin Morgan, Megan Harris, Sierra Harris and his fur baby "Lexi".
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Private Celebration of Life Service for the immediate family to follow at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
Due to the Covid Pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required.
Inurnment will be private and at a later date
Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Carrol Harris.
