Mark C. Messick

Kings Mountain- Mark Messick, 49, passed away June 26, 2009 at his residence.

He was a native of Gaston County, son of the late Kenneth Messick and Pearl Wellman.

Survivors include sons Steven Messick, Matthew Messick and girlfriend Tiffany Vernon, daughter Danielle Messick and boyfriend Dustin Stroupe, brother Daniel Messick, nieces Tracy Spicer and Jennifer Hunter, great nieces and nephews Victoria, Nathan, and Courtney Spicer, Daniel Hunter, grandchildren Caleb and Nicholas Stroupe.

The Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm  Monday night at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the chapel at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with the Rev. Leroy Summey officiating.
