Mary Ann Gibbons Jordan

Gastonia – Mary Ann Gibbons Jordan, 76, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2023 with her family by her side.

Mary was born in Gaston County on April 12, 1947 to the late John Franklin and Hattie Carpenter Gibbons. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Donald W.  “Donnie” Coleman, Jr, and her brother, Johnny Gibbons.

She was a member of Yorkwood Church of God. Mary Ann was a loving and devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Danny Ray Jordan; daughter, Angela Coleman Spence; grandchildren, Brian Fowler and his wife Whitney; great-grandchildren, Chase Fowler, Carson Fowler and Charley Fowler; and special nephew, John Gibbons and his mother, Nancy Gibbons; brother-in-law, Bobby Jordan and her best friend, Patsy Stephenson and Pat Robbins.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 30^th at Yorkwood Church of God, 405 Stagecoach Road, Gastonia, NC  28052 with Pastor Chris Kennedy and Pastor Jimmy Floyd officiating.

The family will receive friends 1 hr. prior to the service

Burial will be at Hollywood Cemetery at a later date
