Stanley – Maureen Anne Mosier Pauley, 64, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2021 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House.
She was born in Erie, PA on September 16, 1956 to Barbara H. Moiser and the late Thomas Mosier. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Eric C. Westendorf.
Maureen loved being outside gardening, sitting on her patio or enjoying their Mountain Home. She was a fabulous cook and home decorator who enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Maureen will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Maureen proudly worked as a Real Estate Broker with Century 21 Murphy & Rudolph for over 20 years.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, George "Linc" Pauley; She is the selfless mother to Michele (Chad) Olson, Kimberly (Matt) Patterson and Matthew Westendorf, George (Tracey) Pauley, DeAnne (John) Brittain & Brian Pauley. She is the affectionate Nana to Ryane Saar, Luke Saar, Payton Westendorf, Brooke Olson, Ava Patterson, Evan Patterson, Isla Westendorf, Levi Revels, Hunter (Derrick) Greene, Raegan (Nick) Whitener, Ty (Kaitlyn)Pauley, LillyAnne Brittain, Jessica Brittain, John Mark Brittain, Blake Pauley. And the sweet Great-Nana to Lincoln, Ivy, Raelee & Harlow.
Sister to Colleen Mosier, Nancy (Eric) Mosier-DeHart & Libby (Frank) Gerraughty; Aunt to Emma & Anneliese Gerraughty.
Visitation for family and friends will be 12:30 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 18th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and the Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
Interment will be Private for the family on Monday at Forest Lawn, Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
