Dallas – Nancy Carol Kiser Garrison, 70, passed away on May 3, 2022, at Atrium Health-Lincolnton. She was born in Gaston County, on July 26, 1951, to the late Roy Marvin "Pete" Kiser, Jr. and Edith Geraldine "Gerri" Wall Kiser.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, David Lee Garrison, and their son, David Lee Garrison, Jr., and a sister Kim Decker.
Carol worked at the Administration Office as secretary for the Gaston County School System and also worked for the US Post Office through Eastridge Mall.
Carol was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dallas, NC. She enjoyed working in her yard, cutting grass, and working around the pool. She also enjoyed beach music and she loved to dance. Carol had a happy spirit and loved people. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family whom she loved dearly, and being "Nana" to her 5 grandchildren who were her pride and joy!
Survivors include her loving daughters, Laura Garrison Odem and husband Mark; Kelly Garrison Taylor and husband John Paul; 5 grandchildren, Taylor Madison Odem, Hannah Mackenzie Odem, Braeden Alexander Taylor, Lucas Bryson Taylor, and Kenslee Addison Taylor; sisters, Patsy Queen (Jimmy) and Sandra Neal; brother-in-law, KB Garrison (Brenda); sisters-in-law, Linda Ackles (John); Annette Carrigan (Phil) and Iva Jean Huffstickler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2022, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 531 Hardin Road, Dallas, NC 28034.
The Funeral Service will be at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
