Kings Mountain – Lloyd Neal Richard, 57, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2021 at his residence with his loving sister by his side.
He was born in Sanford, North Carolina on March 8, 1964, to the late William Neal and Mary Elizabeth Guthrie Richard.
Neal is survived by his loving sister, Cheryl Richard and her wife Martha; his beloved family by heart, Flo and Jim McCarthy, and many wonderful friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home. Due to Covid, the family respectfully requests that masks be worn during this time.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10th at Lee Memorial Gardens, 2600 Hawkins Avenue, Sanford, NC with Reverend Christina Auch and Reverend Chuck Godfrey officiating.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, if you feel the need to stay home, a card or phone call to the family will be appreciated.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made to: Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28120.
