Noah Edward Brittain, Sr.

Gastonia – Noah Edward Brittain, Sr., passed away on July 20, 2022 at Brian Center.

He was born in Burke County on October 14, 1940 to the Paul and Pearl Brittain. He is also preceded in death by his devoted wife of 46 years, Carolyn Sue Arnold Brittain. He was a member of Church of Christ. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his children, Noah E Brittain, Jr (Jan), Leslie Mason Lykins (Darrell); Grandsons, John McNabb, Noah E. Brittain, III and Austin Brittain; great grandsons, Raiden Brittain, Colton and Wyatt McNabb; a brother, Dale Brittain and wife Ruth.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:30 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A Graveside service will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Mausoleum Chapel of Peace at 1:00 p.m., With Pastor Dale Lawing.
