Gastonia – Mrs. Ollie Mae Pasour Hamilton, 95 passed away peacefully on January 12, 2016 with her loving family by her side at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Ollie was a native of Gaston County, born June 1, 1920, daughter of the late Charlie Lee Pasour and Epsy Mae Costner Pasour.
She was a graduate of Dallas High School in 1937. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and a member of the McClure Bible Class. Ollie retired from Brinlaw Manufacturing Company with many years of dedicated service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J.T. Hamilton, and son Max Hamilton; 3 sisters and 7 brothers
Survivors include her son Rick Hamilton, daughter-in-law Joyce Hamilton;
grandchildren Kimberly Hamilton Jackson, Anthony Hamilton and Christopher Johnson; five great grandchildren
Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, January 16th 1:00 pm at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Gibson and Reverend Tommy Owenby officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Gaston Memorial Park with the releasing of the doves.
