Mount Holly – Patric "PJ" James Christopher Martin, 35, passed away March 5, 2022, at his residence.
He was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on December 14, 1986 to Jodie Lynn Kelly and Dwight Anderson Martin, III.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Dwight Martin, Jr. and Brenda Teaster; aunt Angela Ashe; uncle Lee McKee.
Patric worked on computers and worked as an I.T. Tech for the SC School System. He enjoyed watching F1 racing, documentaries and listening to alternative and grunge music. Patric also enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Most of all, Patric spent his time making many happy memories with his son, Dylan.
Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Jodie Lynn Kelly and step-father Robert Tracey Kelly; his father Dwight Anderson Martin, III and step-mother Lisa Marie Martin; his son Dylan James Martin; girlfriend, Cris Ana Magno; brother, Justin Martin; sister, Monica Anne Martin; step-brother, Cody Church; step-sister, Kayla Church; aunt, Ramona McKee; grandparents, Shirley Stegall and Richard Stegall (Ginny); cousins, Heather Montgomery (Christopher), Michael Stegall, George McKee, Ashley McKee, Bailey Ashe, and Tiffani Schiller (Matthew); second cousins, Christopher, Kylee, Levi Montgomery, Alexandria Schiller, and Ethan Schiller.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, North Carolina.
