Patricia Ford Walker, 82, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 23, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Pat was born in Bessemer City on October 24, 1938 and is the daughter of the late Abell and Ruth Nesbit Ford.
Pat was a graduate of Holbrook High School, Lowell and is an active member of Maylo United Methodist Church. Pat was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister and loved everyone and will truly be missed by so many.
Pat and her late husband of 58 years, Harvey Samuel Walker, was always very supportive of their two sons and grandchildren in their athletic events. You could always count on the two of them in attendance cheering for them and their teams.
Pat is survived by her two loving sons, Rodney Walker, Todd Walker and wife Karen; three loving grandchildren, Hallie Walker, Matthew Walker, Andrew Walker; two brothers, Don Ford and wife Sheila, Johnny Ford and wife Ruby; two sisters, Carol Brendle, Doris Richards; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in the Garden of Time II Section of Gaston Memorial Park with Doug Carpenter officiating.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Harvey Samuel Walker; two sisters, Betty Hill, Geraldine Lutz; three brothers, Robert Ford, Thomas Ford, Samuel Ford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Hospice & Palliative Care Lincoln County, 900 Donita Drive, Lincolnton, North Carolina 28092.
