Belmont – Paul Gerald Fitzgerald, 74, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2021 at Granville Medical Center in Oxford, North Carolina.
He was born in Mecklenburg County on November 18, 1946 to the late Joseph Albert and Louise Tench Fitzgerald. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene Fitzgerald and Marlowe Fitzgerald and his brother-in-law, Conan Guffie. Paul was a loving son, brother and friend to all.
Left to cherish his memories includes his sister, Gail Fitzgerald Guffie; brother, Bobby Fitzgerald and sister-in-laws, Darlene Fitzgerald and Charlain Fitzgerald; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 12th at Hillcrest Gardens, 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Highway, Mt. Holly, NC with Mr. Tommy Owensby officiating.
