Pedro Anastasio Antonio, age 67, passed away on August 24, 2026. He was born in Tejupilco, Estado de México, to Maria Antonio and Julio Anastasio.

Pedro was a loving, caring, and funny man who brought warmth and laughter to the people around him. He was someone who cared deeply for his family and will always be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and the love he shared with those closest to him.

Pedro proudly served in the military in Mexico, a part of his life that reflected his strength, dedication, and commitment. He later worked in construction for a time and took pride in working hard to provide for his family. Outside of work, he enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his friends, especially hanging out and sharing laughter and good memories with them.

Pedro will forever be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His presence brought love and laughter into the lives of many, and although he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he gave will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Felicitas Hilario, and his daughters, Maribel Anastasio H. (Reynaldo Salgado), Magdalena Anastasio H. (Felipe Rodriguez), Blanca Anastasio H., and Evelyn Anastasio H. (Carlos Figueroa).

He is also survived by his loved ones, Yessenia, Guadalupe Johnathon Salgado, Azeneth, Laura, Miguel Angel, Christopher Garcia, Mya de la Cruz, Genesis Hilario, Ian, Mathias Rodriguez, Samantha Figueroa, and Sebastian Anastasio, along with extended family and dear friends who loved him dearly.

Pedro’s memory will live on through every story, every laugh, every song, and every moment shared with him. Rest peacefully, Pedro. You were deeply loved, you will be deeply missed, and you will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 708 St. Michael's Lane, Gastonia, North Carolina. A Celebration of Life will follow there at 12:00 noon. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, 1462 Armstrong Ford Road, Belmont, North Carolina.

Pedro era un hombre amoroso, cariñoso y divertido que traía calidez y risas a las personas que lo rodeaban. Era alguien que se preocupaba profundamente por su familia y siempre será recordado por su buen corazón, su sentido del humor y el amor que compartía con los más cercanos a él.

Pedro sirvió con orgullo en el ejército en México, una parte de su vida que reflejaba su fuerza, dedicación y compromiso. Más tarde trabajó en la construcción durante un tiempo y se enorgulleció de trabajar duro para mantener a su familia. Fuera del trabajo, disfrutaba escuchando música y pasando tiempo con sus amigos, especialmente pasando el rato y compartiendo risas y buenos recuerdos con ellos.

Pedro siempre será recordado como un querido esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo. Su presencia trajo amor y risas a la vida de muchos, y aunque ya no está con nosotros, los recuerdos que creó y el amor que dio permanecerán en los corazones de su familia y amigos para siempre.

Deja atrás a su amada esposa, Felicitas Hilario, y a sus hijas, Maribel Anastasio H. (Reynaldo Salgado), Magdalena Anastasio H. (Felipe Rodríguez), Blanca Anastasio H. y Evelyn Anastasio H. (Carlos Figueroa).

También le sobreviven sus nietos, Yessenia, Guadalupe Johnathon Salgado, Azeneth, Laura, Miguel Ángel, Christopher García, Mya de la Cruz, Génesis Hilario, Ian, Mathias Rodríguez, Samantha Figueroa y Sebastián Anastacio, junto con familiares extendidos y queridos amigos que lo amaban mucho.

El recuerdo de Pedro vivirá a través de cada historia, cada risa, cada canción y cada momento compartido con él. Descansa en paz, Pedro. Fuiste profundamente amado, te extrañaremos profundamente y nunca serás olvidado.
