Charlotte – Steven Randolph "Randy" Hulsey, 70, passed away on October 14th at Novant Health–Presbyterian in Charlotte.
He was born in Gaston County on October 5, 1950 to the late Kenton and Bertie Hulsey.
Randy was a veteran of the US Army. After serving his Country in Vietnam with the 4th Infantry Division, he worked in sales in the Textile Machinery Industry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven R. Hulsey II; brothers, Ronnie, Robert, and Mike Hulsey and by his sister, Diane Brag.
Survivors include his loving wife Joy Hodnett Hulsey; daughter Amy Pittinaro, 3 grandchildren, Isabella Marie and Jake Michael Dolinski and David Steven Pittinaro of Charlotte NC; brother Keith A Hulsey and wife Marilyn of Dallas, NC; sister, Jeanne Woody of Concord, NC.
Visitation for family and friends will be held 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday, October 19th at Calvary Baptist Church, 2727 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road, Charlotte, NC 28214. A Memorial Service to celebrate Randy's life will follow at 6:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.
