Bessemer City – Rebecca Jean "Becky" Sherbert, 48 passed away on April 26, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Cleveland County, on January 28, 1974 to Donna Moss Rathbone and the late Paul Rathbone. In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Thelma Moss.
Becky enjoyed making people laugh. She also enjoyed fishing, but most of all she loved spending time with her girls and her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family.
Becky had worked at Costner School and also Meridian.

Left to cherish her memories include her beloved mother, Donna Rathbone; her wonderful daughters, Charley Gibson and husband Chris, Mayson Sherbert (her favorite); her grandbabies, Callee and Chasen Gibson, Brantley Payne; her brothers, Scott Daves and wife Candy, P.J. Rathbone and wife Amy; sister, Sonya Fox and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be 12 Noon, Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at Harmony Baptist Church, 2009 Puett's Chapel Road, Bessemer City, NC with Pastor Steve Fain officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12 prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, 2009 Puett's Chapel Road, Bessemer City, NC 28016
