Reggie G Barker

Reginal “Reggie” George Barker, 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Gaston County, North Carolina on April 14, 1947 to the late Ralph E. Barker, Sr and Era Lee Ballard Barker. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Mathis.

Reggie was a graduate of South Point High School.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Manheim Auto Auctions after many years.  He enjoyed playing golf, trips to the beach, beach music and shagging.  He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. 

Reggie is survived by his son, David Barker and wife Erinn; grandchildren, Nicholas and Emma Barker, Caleb and Trinity Butler;  siblings, Ed Barker and wife Sherry, Lucy Hodge, Bob Barker, Mark Barker and wife Paulette; many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

Funeral Services will be private and at a later date.
