Bessemer City – Reginald "Reggie" Steven Guffey, Sr., 76, passed away on February 8, 2021 at Atruim Health – Cleveland.
He was born in Cleveland County on April 5, 1944 to the late Fred and Ethel Melton Guffey.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Carol May.
Reggie was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was self employed small engine repairman.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting especially fishing with his family.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 55 years, Norma Jean "Jeannie" Boyd Guffey;
his children Regina Guffey Phillips (Ryan Bishop), Reggie and (Barbara) Guffey;
grandchildren, Johnny and (Morgan) Guffey, Joshua Guffey, Ashley Lane;
great granddaughter, Haley Galloway; brother Dale (Charlene) Guffey; sisters Maudie (Bobby) Robinson, Sidney Conrad, Patricia Logan and Janet (Flavio) Sabucco
