Belmont – Robert Hayes Reagan, 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 21, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 21, 1947 in Gaston County, NC. He was the son of the late William Kelly Reagan and Trula Russell Reagan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Reagan, Genevieve Miller, Carol Dills and Sylvia Walt.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed. He loved being "Pappy" to his children, nieces and nephews and a wonderful "Paw Paw" to his grandchildren. Robert was an avid Fisherman. He loved riding in his boat and fishing and listening to Don Williams's music. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He worked for Wix Filters for over 50 years and loved every minute of it.
Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Vickie Raby Reagan; his loving children, Kelly Ray (Rex) Reagan, Robert William (Jackie Johns) Reagan, Pamela (Brian) Calaway; his loving and devoted grandchildren, Victoria, Kaycee, and Wallace Reagan, Olivia and Mary Grace Calaway; his brother, Laddie (Jane) Reagan, his twin sisters, Martha Jean (Jimmy) Bridges and Mary Jane (Bill) Rawlins.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 29 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Pastors David Belle Isle and Curtis Purser officiating. Masonic Rites will be performed following the Celebration of Life Service.
Pallbearers will be Max Miller, Dennis Walden, Michael Rawlins, Danny Langford, and Mark Meadows.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to: Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605.
