Ronald Eugene Stillwell

Ronald Eugene Stillwell, 50, passed away on May 11, 2024 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. 

He was born in Gaston County on September 21, 1973 to Delores Cogdell Stillwell and the late William Michael Stillwell. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife Nicole Stillwell. 

Ronald loved his job hanging Christmas lights in McAdenville and was a tinkerer who knew how to work on any small engine. He also enjoyed grilling out, spending time with his family and friends and making people smile. 

He is survived by his sons, Chase Gamble and Justin Stillwell; brother, David Stillwell; sister, Jennifer Crawley (Terry); and all of his nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends will gather from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Ricky Sigmon and Pastor Derek Propst officiating.
