Gastonia – Ruth Ann Ferns, 81 passed away on November 27, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on January 30, 1939 to the late Andrew and Ruth Bullock Powers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Edward Joseph Ferns, daughter Patricia Parlier and a son Edward Joseph Ferns, Jr.
Ruth worked and retired as an Administrator with the Providence Newspapers.
Left to cherish her memories is her loving children, Maureen Pregoni, Michael Ferns,
Ruth Ann Ferns, Diane Pregoni, Robert (Ellen) Ferns, Elizabeth Ferns-Berberick; grandchildren, Melissa, Lauryn, Sarah, Nicholas, Joseph, Colleen and Grace;
great grandchildren Liam and Declan.
Burial will be at St Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland, RI
