Sandra Kay Ward Black

Sandra Kay Ward Black, 60,  has passed away at the Carolina Caring Hospice Care in Newton, North Carolina. Born on July 16, 1963, Sandra leaves behind a legacy of hard work and kindness. Sandra had dedicated years of her life working at Ward Bonding, where she made a lasting impact with her dedication and work ethic. Beyond her career, Sandra found joy in the simple things - tending to her flowers brought her a sense of peace and contentment while dancing allowed her to express herself freely.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Nettie Duncan Ward, her son David Lonnie Pittman, her granddaughter Payton Pittman, her sister Kathy Ward Fuller, niece Gracie Fuller, and nephew Wesley Baucom (Kayla Mullarkey). Sandra was predeceased by her father, Earl Lonnie Ward.

In addition to her immediate family, Sandra is also mourned by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were touched by her warmth and generosity throughout her life.

Sandra Kay Ward Black will be remembered not only for the work she did or the hobbies she enjoyed but also for the love and kindness she shared with those around her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was cherished by many and that her memory will live on through all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
