Selina May Whitsett

Dallas – Selina May Whitsett, 60, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Selina was born in Richmond, Virginia, on September 12, 1961 to the late Joyce Clark.

Selina was a collector of all things especially little figurines. She loved her swimming pool and going to the beach for vacation. Most of all, Selina spent her time making many happy memories with her family especially her beloved nieces.

Those left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 40 years, Ricky Whitsett; brother, James; sister, Tracy Johnson; and her nieces, Tiesha, Justine, and Amber.

The family will receive friends on July 27, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Withers and Whisenant chapel. Interment will be at Westview Gardens.  

Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia North Carolina, is serving the family.
