Sharon Renee Hicks Whitt, of Laguna Hills, California, formerly of Belmont, North Carolina, daughter of Charles "Newt" Hicks and the late Janet Hicks, was born on September 29, 1976, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. She passed away on August 16, 2021, in Laguna Hills, California.
Sharon was a loving wife and an amazing mother. She was known by her friends and family as an encourager and a mighty prayer warrior.
While her time on this earth was short, she has left a legacy that will carry on with everyone who was close to her. Her main focus in life was - loving and caring for others, spending quality time with family, and Pointing people to Christ.
Survivors include, her loving husband of 18 years Justin Whitt; Her son Tyson Bittle and daughter Samantha Whitt; Her father, Charles "Newt" Hicks; brothers, Matthew Hicks and Harold Hicks; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law Barbara Whitt and Stephen Whitt; aunt Linda and Uncle Tom Koprowski as well as many very close cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service was held in San Juan Capistrano, California on August 27, 2021.
The Graveside Service will be at 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont, North Carolina with John and Amy Whitaker officiating.
