It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Shawn Alan Jones, a cherished soul whose life came to an unexpected end on April 4, 2026, in York, South Carolina. Born on June 11, 1978, in New York, Shawn lived a life filled with energy, kindness, and a genuine passion for those around him.

Shawn was a man whose spirit was as vibrant as his smile. Known for being fun-loving and caring, he touched the lives of many with his warm heart and joyful nature. His love for working on cars wasn’t just a pastime; it was a reflection of his dedication and meticulous nature. Throughout his life, he showed a remarkable work ethic, contributing his talents at various places over the years, including Walmart in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. His career journey was a testament to his commitment and the diverse skills he brought to every role he undertook.

His sudden departure leaves a void that can never be filled. The news of his passing resonates deeply among those who knew and loved him. Shawn's memory will forever be treasured by his father, Timothy "Tim" Jones, his brothers Jeffery and Eric Jones, and his half-sister Julie Davis. They, along with friends and all who were  know Shawn, mourn the loss of a beloved son, brother, and friend.

We also remember with solemn hearts his mother, Juanita "Nita" Dailey Jones, who preceded him in death. Her memory lives on in Shawn’s life and the love he carried.
