Gastonia - Sheila Medvidovich Smith, 67, passed away at Caromont Regional Medical Center on January 23, 2022. She was born October 5, 1954, in Gaston County to the late Joseph P. Medvidovich and Martha Glance Medvidovich.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Jackson, Gary Medvidovich, and George "Buddy" Langley.
Sheila was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her!
Left to cherish her memories is her daughter, Nikki Sciba (Brian) of Clover; her son, John Robinson (Erika) of Gastonia; grandchildren, Nicolas Sciba, Braden Sciba, Emery Sciba, Porter Robinson, Carter Robinson, and Conner Robinson; brothers, Joel Medvidovich, John Medvidovich, and Jerry Medvidovich all of Pennsylvania; brother, Johnny Medvidovich of Murrells Inlet, SC; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, extended family and friends whom she loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church, 3001 York Highway, Gastonia, NC 28052 with Pastor Josh Glandon officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., prior to the Memorial Service. Due to the Covid outbreak, please wear a mask while attending the visitation and/or the Memorial Service.
Due to the Covid outbreak, if you feel the need to stay home, a card or phone call to the family will be appreciated.
