Shirley Barnhill Foster

Shirley Ann Barnhill Foster, 86, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Shirley was born in Gaston County on May 26, 1935 and is the daughter of the late Robert Joseph and Arlene Tscheiller Barnhill and was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Horace Foster, her two brothers, Robert "Bob" Barnhill, Michael Barnhill.
Shirley lived at the beach and the mountains since retiring from AMP, Inc. after 26 years of faithful service.
Shirley is survived by her loving children, Morris "Tony" Foster and wife Brenda, Kim Cook and husband Johnny, Keith Foster and wife Melanie, Crystal Foster; brothers, Jerry Barnhill and Sheila, Roger "Buddy" Barnhill and wife Linda; five grandchildren, Salina, Tonya, Waylon, Jimmie, MacKenzie; eight great grandchildren, Tyler, Adam, Caleb, Chan, Hope, Odin, Jayden, Ava Grace; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private Graveside Services will be held at Gaston Memorial Park.
