Dallas – Shirley Wooten Philbeck, 73, passed away on April 2, 2021 at CMC-Main, Charlotte.
She was born in Gaston County on January 17, 1948 to the late James Wooten. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands, Luther Perkins and Ellis Philbeck. She retired from textiles. Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include children, Richard Lowery, Michael Perkins and Rhonda Helms; her mother Mary Harwell Wooten; brother James Wooten, Jr and sisters Kathy Mullis and Brenda Frisbee;
10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
All services will be private at a later date
