Stacey Scott Patterson

Denver – Stacey Scott Patterson, 42, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side.  

He was born in Mecklenburg County on December 23, 1980 to Patricia Benton Patterson and the late Eric Gordon Patterson.

Stacey was a loving and devoted father who liked to go fishing and was a big fan of Nascar. He was a dedicated Earnhardt fan. He leaves many happy memories that will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, Patricia Patterson, he is survived by his sons, Denver Patterson and Isaac Carder; brother, Rodney Lee Stone; sister, Kristine Butcher; family, Brian Rhyne, Jr., Natalie Rhyne, Leah Rhyne, Payton Rhyne, Chlorissa McCarter, Daniel McCarter, Aiden McCarter, Rhylieh McCarter, Samantha Rosenbalm, Codie Boyer, and Andrew Boyer; his longtime girlfriend of 15 years, Dawn Marie Rosenbalm; and he was loved by many aunts, uncles, and friends.

The family will receive friends at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home on Saturday March 4, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel followed by the releasing of the doves.
