Gastonia – Steve Michael "Mike" Groner, 64 passed away peacefully on October 5, 2021, at his residence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Boiling Green Baptist Church, 1683 Highway 321 North, Clover, South Carolina 29710 with Pastor Mitch Bolin and Pastor James Chambers officiating.
He was a native of Gaston County, born on December 4, 1956, to the late Jack Allen Groner and Joyce Jean Morgan Groner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jerri Short.
Mike worked at Dallas Electric for over 20 years. He was a kind and loving person that never met a stranger. Mike was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all.
Left to cherish his memories is his son, Steve Michael Groner, II and his wife Amanda; their children, Kadence and Lathan; brother, Bryan Groner and wife Karen; sisters, Marsha Davis and husband John; Ann Burton and husband Buddy; Kim Allbright and husband Richie; Kristy Ucelo and husband Eddie; and several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
