Suzanne Taylor Rabb

Suzanne Taylor Rabb, 74, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 20, 2023 with her loving family by her side.  Suzanne was born in Moore County, NC  on January 22, 1949 and is the daughter of the late Edward C. Taylor and Sarah Hughes Taylor.

Suzanne graduated from Ashley High School, Class of 1967 and attended Gaston College.  She was former President of the Junior Woman’s Club, Gastonia.  She was a big fan of the University of South Carolina Football and the Carolina Panthers, and she loved to tailgate with family and friends.  Suzanne and her beloved husband Christopher enjoyed traveling both in and out of the country.  Her favorite destination was Tuscany, Italy.

As a partner with Christopher, both in business and pleasure, Suzanne was Co-Founder and President of C.L. Rabb, Inc.  She helped develop the company into a thriving family business that continues to provide a livelihood for her children.

She enjoyed family dinners and spending time with friends and family.  Suzanne’s greatest joy and love was her love of her grandchildren.

Left to cherish Suzanne’s memories are her husband of 54 years, Christopher L. Rabb; son, Bryan Rabb and wife Lauren and their 3 children whom were adored by Suzanne, Grace Rabb, Sarah Rabb, Lucy Rabb; daughter, Madelyn Rabb and fiancé, David Iacuzio; 3 brothers, Roy Ingraham and wife Kay, Gary Ingraham and wife Corrine, Jack Ingraham; 2 sisters, Judy Williams and husband, Dale, Paula Guilmette; mother-in-law, Harriett Louise Rabb; sister-in-law, Audrey Lynn Rabb and  children Jeremy and Lindsay. Special aunts and uncles, Norma Gilman and Michael Cassady.

The family will receive family and friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00  p.m. Monday, April 24, 2023 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia with a Graveside Service to follow at 1:15 p.m. at the Mausoleum of Prayer at Gaston Memorial Park (New Section).
