Bessemer City – Tabatha Ann "Tabby" Wyatt Thomas, 49 passed away on May 3, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Mecklenburg County on August 20, 1972 to Tony and Kathy Lockridge Wyatt.
Tabby was preceded in death by her friend and cousin, she loved dearly Lisa Hedrick; who is waiting at the pearly gates.

She had worked at Kingsway and Murphy Oil. Everyone knew Tabby, and loved her big smile and her kindness. She was a loving daughter, mother and nana. She never met a stranger. Tabby lived her best life; she was very strong and caring. She also loved her dogs.

Left to cherish her memories include her beloved daughter, Courtney and her husband Stephen Vernon; nana's wonderful grandbaby, Raelynn Vernon; her loving parents, Tony and Kathy Wyatt; her brother Tony "Peanut" Wyatt, II and Shannon; nieces and nephews, Samuel, Danielle and Cody, Josh and Cheltsee and many wonderful friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2022 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Scott Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
