Todd Arthur McHargue

Todd Arthur McHargue, 62, passed away on January 27, 2024 at his residence in Cramerton. 

He was born in Lake County, Indiana on November, 28 1961 to the late Ralph and Phyllis McHargue. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Mark McHargue. 

Todd dedicated 24 years to serving his country as a Master Chief in the US Navy, working as a cryptologist. After retiring from the Navy he worked for Northup Grumman as a project manager. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid boater. He liked to coach and was a huge Notre Dame fan and was all things Chicago Cubs and Bears. Most of all he loved his sons and his family.  

He is survived by his sons, Brennon McHargue (Makenzie) and Dillon McHargue (Catherine); brother, Jay McHargue; sisters, Cheryl Alt (Dave), Renee Hinson (Walt), Dawn McCulloch (Jim) and LaRue Francesconi (Bob); and his granddaughter, Payton McHargue. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday February 2, 2023 at Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, 503 N. Main Street, in Belmont, NC. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Disabled Veterans National Foundation.
