Dallas – Tommy Farrell Roberts, Sr., 64, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Gaston County, born on March 9, 1957 to the late William Ferrell Roberts and Margie Ellen Taylor Roberts. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother, Clint Roberts.
Tom served in the U.S. Marines. He enjoyed working as a truck driver for many. You could say Tom loved trucking. He also enjoyed wrestling, going to live stock auctions; and just being around animals.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of over 45 years, Elaine Caldwell Roberts; his son Tommy Roberts and wife Tammy, daughter Melanie Franckewitz and Jason Blackmon; five grandchildren, Austin Roberts, Haylee Franckewitz, Jacob Franckewitz, Cameron Roberts and Chloe Roberts; brothers, Billy Joe Roberts and Shane Roberts and wife Denta; sisters, Mary Ellen Martin and husband Roy Dean, Annette Werner and husband Craig; several nieces and nephews
