He was surrounded by his loved ones during his final moments. Harvey, as he was affectionately known, was born on November 18, 1943, in Norfolk City, Virginia. He was the son of Clarence Stanford Vincent and Flora Black Vincent and was preceded in death by two brothers named Buddy and Burgess Vincent.

Throughout his life, Harvey was a true DIY guy who found joy in his work. He owned and operated Hardin Salvage for over 25 years. Carpentry and any kind of construction fascinated him, and he poured his passion into these endeavors. His craftsmanship will be remembered by many for years to come.

Although hard work was important to Harvey, nothing compared to the precious time he spent with his family. His memories are filled with love and laughter shared among those he held dear. Family gatherings were always cherished moments that brought him immense happiness.

Beyond his work and family time, Harvey had diverse interests that brought joy into his life. One of his greatest pleasures was Western dancing, particularly the Texas Two Step which he would often enjoy with his beloved wife Carol. Not only did he dance for leisure but also took up the role of a dance teacher and would even DJ on some occasions. His passion for dancing left an indelible mark on all those who danced alongside him.

Harvey will be dearly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His warm smile, gentle nature, and unwavering dedication to those he loved touched the lives of many. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire generations to come.
